We are committed to open, transparent engagement with the Blackbutt and broader South Burnett community throughout all phases of the project.
The Tumuruu team has been actively engaging with the Blackbutt community since late 2022 through newsletters, factsheets, mailouts, and this website.
We have held discussions with neighbouring property owners, community organisations including the Blackbutt Avocado Festival and Rural Fire Brigade, and local businesses. We welcome community input and encourage residents to reach out with any questions or feedback.
Ongoing updates are provided via this website and our mailing list. Below are our published newsletters and information sheets. Please contact us to be added to the mailing list.
We value your input and want to hear from you. Whether you have questions about the project, suggestions, or concerns, there are several ways to get in touch with the Tumuruu project team.
For detailed enquiries, please use our contact form or email us directly. We aim to respond to all enquiries promptly.
Join our mailing list to receive project newsletters, community updates, and notification of upcoming engagement opportunities.
Sign Up via Contact FormUpon becoming operational, a Community Benefit Fund will be established for the life of the project, providing grants to support community projects and initiatives in the South Burnett region.
Aligned to the anticipated start of construction, the first Community Benefit Fund contributions are expected in late 2026. Grant applications will open as the fund is established.
We're here to listen. Reach out to the project team with any questions, comments, or suggestions.
